deja vu?

Didn't we just do this??? I swear I remember last week or so.... we all had colds, no one but me could go to church, everyone including Chad was coughing up their lungs.... Soooo.....
What the heck is this week doing back!??!?! Only this time it's me and all the kids and not Chad. There must be something good coming, right? Please tell me there is a reason to our extreme head hurting, running noses, fevers, coughs (that never went all the way away), and I lost my voice. Not kinda lost, like LoST lost....can't barely whisper, which is not good when you have to be Mom to three kids, lost. Green snot is gross. Will it end? Where is the sunny, spring, healthy weather? Blah. Wish me luck.

proof of patience

One day I was sitting in the living room. I could hear a ruckus in the kitchen. Sounded like Chase playing with the Tupperware. *sigh* All the time.... but then I could hear a weird sound.... Daija yelled, "Oh my gosh!!!" Which is usually a bad sign. So instead of screaming into the kitchen. I calmly grabbed the camera (don't know why I knew I'd need it.) I headed into the kitchen. This is what I found. The fact that he's alive and well....is proof of patience.

Apparently I forgot to throw the "empty" egg carton away. There was egg everywhere. He was having a blast crunching the egg shells!!!! And I have no idea how he got into the drawer by himself! LOL
