We had such fun on Saturday! We had several families from our ward come over to play some badminton and BBQ hotdogs and s'mores. We had a slip and slide for the kids, plus the trampoline and s'mores of coarse!! :) The men played badminton mostly...a tournament of king of the court. One on one Chad beat everybody! LOL He's a big, tough guy now. Then they played doubles so more people could play and the two Jared's won! (Jared Jones and Jared Murphy, no relation.) The fire pit worked awesome. The kids had a great time, which is cool cause I was worried they'd get bored, especially since there were 13 kids running around! And we only had a couple of small bumped heads on the tramp, which I was also worried about because almost all of them were up there together! But no one bled so it's all good! And we finally got a good weather day, since we had to reschedule twice because of rain!!! Enjoy the pics!

AHHH!!!
Chase has started a fun new trick. He tried it earlier today in his crib. He exercises his vocal chords to extreme pitches and decibals. I thought it was funny just hearing it coming from his crib, but he stopped doing it when I went in to get him. He didn't do it again the rest of the day. One of Chase's favorite things to do is roll around on the couch, stand up against the side and let himself fall straight backward, and laugh histerically! It's so funny to watch. I have to sit right by the couch so he doesn't fall off. Tonight he was crawling all over me on the couch and giggling, when he leaned over the side of the couch toward the cat's perch and started scream/squeeling! He opens his mouth and his eyes as big as he can and clinches and tenses his whole body and just screams as loud as he can muster! IT'S HILARIOUS!!! Chad and I were laughing so hard our cheeks hurt! A picture's worth a thousand words. Hope these are as good for you as they are for us! :)

Transformers
We had so much fun today! Chad and I took the girls to see Transformers! :) It was an awesome movie. It was extremely action packed the whole time. The girls were so excited all day, Kyla would all of a sudden yell at me, "We're going to see Transformers!" Then, about half-way through the movie, she fell asleep!!! I don't know how she did it cause it was loud and Chad (who was holding her) said she jumped a couple of times, but stayed asleep. HEHEHE Then on the way out of the theatre she looked up at Chad and said, "Daddy, I love Transformers!" She so funny. Daija was pretty scared at one part, but mostly just watched, and occationaly I would have to tell her to stop talking to me and JUST watch! She's just like her mother...I talk and ask questoins the whole movie too! :) Chase was at a sitter, which worked out ok...except I think he really missed his sisters and cried off and on the whole time we were gone. O well. All's well that ends well, right? All in all it was a great day! Yay, TRANSFORMERS!!

Memories
Remember this?... I do. I really miss the Philippines! Chad talked to one of his friends from HS last night who also went to the Phils, just a different area. His friend really wants to go back. I think Chad is thinking he's going to go without me. (his friend isn't married) I don't know about that...but I know we can't afford for both of us to go...
I just wish I was on the beach and reading a book. Getting a tan (with sunblock!) and enjoying the water and warm air! We were so busy that we never really just laid on the beach. How sad.
Some day we'll go back. It would be wonderful if it was soon but I doubt it so I'll just remember and look at the pics and enjoy! I hope you can enjoy too!! :)

Hair Bows and Shin Splints
I promise to get pics of my hair bows soon. They turned out sooo cute! And they stay in real well on a ponytail (just somewhere the hair is pulled up) because they're on a comb.
They're nice and big and beautiful!
I went and had a foot dialysis done today. I don't know all the technical terms but i need more support on my arch because my feet arch outward. So I took my shoes back to Kohl's because my shins hurt sooo bad!!! And took my old running shoes with me to find a pair of insoles at Big 5. After trying a ton of diff ones, (Thank you Chad for helping me and being patient.) I think I found some and they better work cause they were expensive! I'm so frustrated I'm close to giving up running all together. I've never had shin splints before in my life. I guess I'm too fat and old...LOL Chad just says I need to start off slow and stretch. :)
Guess I'll try again! Ya...keep you posted on that!

Rain Rain Go Away!
It has rained for 6 days straight. And not just a little rain. Like I think I moved to Seattle rain! I'm so sick of it. The flowers I planted are good with a little water. I live in a desert. That's why I planted them. Now with all this water they aren't looking so hot.
:( Not cool.
I was going to go check on my stuff at the boutique today. It's raining too hard to want to go out in it. I'll get soaked just running from the car to the store. I really need to check on my clocks. With these hard times no one is buying my big clocks. I'm thinking of lowering my price a little and lowering the smaller clocks too. Better to make a little bit than make nothing. :) I'm also thinking of doing some hair flowers. I made some yesterday for my girls. They are super cute! And I think I could sell them for a really cheap deal. We'll see...

Speaking of Kyla. The poor thing was hanging out in the kitchen with me tonight while I was making dinner. We had breakfast for dinner. Coffee cake and scrambled eggs. As I was getting the coffee cake out of the oven, Chad was stirring the eggs, Kyla decided to help and push the rack back into the oven and close the door. She tried to with her bare hand. Now she has a minor burn on her left hand. I can't see any large blistering so that's good. I wrapped it in a large piece of guaze with medical tape. It covers her palm and partially up her fingers. It makes me sad to see her bandaged up. I'm glad it's not worse though!
Kyla
Kyla is my little singer. She sings the song by Avril Lavinge (sp?) that goes "This innocence is brilliant. I hope that it will stay. This moment is perfect. Please don't go away. I need you now! And I'll hold on to it. Don't you let it pass you by." She sings it as loud as she can and you can barely understand the words but you can hear the tune. She's quite good at holding pitch, just needs to work on pronouncing. :) LOL
Chase
Chase has decided that he can go down stairs. He goes down front ways, like he's crawling down them. He thinks it's hilarious! Especially when I have to grab the back of his clothes so he doesn't plummit to the bottom. :) Ha. Ha. We're trying to teach him to go backwards. He just tries to sit, which makes him flip backwards down the stairs instead. *sigh* Eventually...
My favorite thing is when he gives hugs.
He leans over and just snuggles his head on my shoulder.
Just for a second and then he's done.
But for a second life is pretty much perfect.

the FAM
I love my family! I had to work today at AccuColor (Chad's parent's shop) and it was busy off and on but mostly it was boring. I really missed my family today. I really enjoyed when they came to see me for lunch. When I got home we had dinner together and went to WalMart. I know...so exciting, but I really enjoyed just being together. Daija is getting so big and grown up, she says the funniest things lately. A couple of days ago when the kids were telling Daddy goodbye for work they always say, "Goodbye Daddy! Love you! Don't hit cars." And Daija decided to throw in, "And don't hit homeless people!" Kyla is funny, she makes the funniest faces, today every time she spoke to me at work she would partially squint her eyes and talk with her lips pursed, and always quite dramatic. Chase is growing up and getting the cutest character. He loves to laugh and smile and make you laugh and smile. He plays peek-a-boo, and thinks it's hilarious to scream just to get your reaction. And believe it or not Chad is funny too. :) He makes me laugh, even when I'm not in the best mood, he can always make me laugh if he tries. And that's a good reason to stick around when things aren't that exciting. My family loves me and that makes me happy. :)
