At our house we don't do sleepovers. Instead we plan late night parties. We call them Late Night Movie Nights. The girls get to invite a few friends over and we watch a movie and eat junk food and then they all go home at 10pm. :) It is PERFECT! The last one we did happened to be a couple of days before the 4th of July. Chad and Aaron went and bought a bunch of fireworks. Which were supposed to be for the 4th but they were so much fun that we ended up doing them all for the kids that night and having to buy more for the 4th! My husband is like a kid at Christmas - and in fact Christmas and the 4th of July are his favorite holidays. Since the lovely state of Utah made the BIG fireworks legal this year he went crazy!
Daija and Kyla invited Megan and Tayler Dance, Kayla (from school), Megan Jones, Symera Miller, and Gayle Murphy. Add in my two boys and my two sisters and my one sisters boyfriend who showed up to spend the weekend for us and we had a full house! :) It was a lot of fun and the kids were absolutely thrilled with the fireworks!
We did watch most of Ramona and Beazus (spelled wrong probably) but they were more interested in playing, eating junk food, and then watching the fireworks. LOL
And just in case you were wondering - yes that's a propane torch in my husband's hand. A normal lighter just isn't good enough. He doesn't mess around!
